The Odoromics™ Company
At Yesse Technologies, we are building a technology platform that harnesses the biology of the real nose and merges it with cutting-edge nanotechnology to ultimately decode the last mystery of the senses.
“With Yesse, we are on our way to replace the no in nose with a convinced yes.”
─Dr. Charlotte D’Hulst, CEO
Mission
We are on a mission to demystify the enigmatic sense of smell and to unveil a whole new world of data, Odoromics™.
We believe that our ground-breaking science can unleash the power of the nose to disrupt Flavor & Fragrance R&D pipelines and maybe one day put the nose in diagnose.
Values
We are proud to be rooted in basic science and are employing what nature has fine-tuned for us ─through millions of years of evolution─ to measure smells with the precision of the human nose. Therefore, we are building an interdisciplinary team that shares our core values of integrity, thinking out-of-the box and pushing the boundaries of the unknown.
Ecosystem
Yesse Technologies is headquartered at the Alexandria Center for Life Sciences, right at the heart of New York City’s vibrant and rapidly-growing biotech ecosystem, and has a subsidiary in Leuven, Belgium near its chip development partner imec.
The
ORion21™
Platform
The ORion21™ platform is the product of more than 30 years of fundamental research on the molecular biology of the sense of smell and is named after the constellation Orion (The Hunter), an acknowledgement to Hunter College (CUNY) where the technology was invented.
The science behind the technology has been extensively validated by Yesse’s co-founders, Drs. Paul Feinstein and Charlotte D’Hulst and has been published in the peer-reviewed journal Cell Reports in 2016.
“We employ what Biology engineered for us throughout evolution.”
─Prof. Paul Feinstein, CSO
We bring together a multidisciplinary team of dedicated scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs fueled by smart VCs and experienced advisors.
Team
“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.“
─Steve Jobs
